Raindy is a mindfulness teacher in both Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Corporate-Based Mindfulness Training (CBMT for workplace). She is also an experienced holistic care practitioner, clinical counsellor and NLP practitioner. She advocates mindfulness as a way of life. She provides regular mindfulness classes and sound baths to local communities and delivers mindfulness corporate workshops. Raindy integrates her professional working experience with her hobbies such as writing, hiking, reading, yoga, tea zen. She holds 2 post-graduate master degrees and an EMBA.
I started meditating around 20 years ago after an accident. I was so anxious about the future and occupied with worries and unlimited thoughts. I then started jogging and meditating for 2 hours every morning. I slowly found myself becoming more attentive, concentrating better and having clarity in thoughts. When I look back today, meditation at that time helped me to strengthen the pre-frontal cortex area of my brain.
Thoughts pop up at all time. Meditation and mindfulness help me tame those ‘monkey’ thoughts and train up my mind muscle.
