MBSR, developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn is considered the gold standard of mindfulness training. This 8-week evidence-based, scientifically researched programme has helped people build stress resilience, improve concentration and make more skilful choices for better health and wellbeing. 
A growing body of research is showing the benefits of the programme for better management of chronic pain, illness, anxiety and depression.

Course details

The course consists of 8 sessions, each of 2.5 hours with home practices and an all-day retreat.

Start date: February 27th
End date: April 24th
Every Saturday, 10 - 12:30 pm
Venue: Bird Devon House studio*

(No class on April 3rd due to Easter)

All-day retreat will happen on April 11th, 9:30am – 5:00pm

Ralitsa is a qualified MBSR teacher. She has extensive knowledge in the mindfulness field. 

Who is the MBSR course suitable for? 誰適合MBSR課程?
The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced meditators. No prior meditation experience needed.

What should I expect? 我應該期待什麼?
Held in a small group setting, students learn mindfulness practices guided by a certified teacher to cultivate awareness of the mind and body. During the weekly sessions, students engage in experimental practices, group discussions and awareness exercises, such as mindful movement and mindful walking. Home practices and exercises, which are assisted by MP3 recordings, comprehensive Participant Handbook and home practice sheets are assigned.

Our group classes are kept small and intimate for effective support and learning.
